The low level passenger coaches & trucks.

Coaches 3 and 1 (left to right) having had thier brake inspection and cobweb declutter
Now this is not something you see everyday. A 4 coach 5 ride on train. This is after a clean wax and polish.

Low level Non passenger cars

The low level truck for the low level. For taking human powered wheeled vehicles or boxes of stuff around our railway.
Seen here with its loading ramps down, it is wide enough to put a complete set of points on without twisting the them.
The end on view. It also is fitted with a hand brake under the furthest seat if you are brave enough to ride on it.
Here it is many years ago dressed as a passenger coach. I am assured that it was quite comfortable.
Lower level 5 inch driving car
Lower level 5 inch driving car. This mean it generally goes ONLY on the low level and around the outer track ONLY

It could go on the raised track but your feet / legs would be very high up and if you suffer from vertigo its a long way up !

Rejuvenation of the low level ride-on Trucks & passenger coaches 2023

The foot boards cleaned off before painting with primer, undercoat and a top coat of anti-slip paint.

Drivers ride on being prepared for a top coat of gloss black paint.

That's the top coat done. Left the running boards so that a top coat of anti slip paint can be applied.
Just a moody shot of the passenger ride on cars after car No2 had it paint revamp.

All that's left to be done are passenger cars No1, No3 & No4.

Passenger car No5 does not need painting as it does not come out to play very often.
