In the off season (it's late October) lots of heavy work gets done. This years project is to clear and clean the soak away that over over the years have become broken and silted up. More pictures to follow where stuff happens.

11th September 2024
Chris & Phill have done a fantastic job of clearing this section of reeds.
so the little people dont have to walk all the way round they can now jump over the dyke.
Looks like winnie the pooh's distant cousin has been here, he dont like "PEOPLE".
Chris made this lovely seat of our little people visitors, not sure the human postiere would like that.
The bridge bend seating where tired P-Way staff can listen to the trains go by.
This way that way seating for the tired and weary worker to rest his bones apone.

24th April 2024

Roger test's his 5inch out on the dual guage lower track and Chris is running his 5inch for a steam test on the raised track.

13th March 2024
The Andy bought his Class 66 to the club to see how it would run the "wrong" way round. NO not turn the loco around, to drive in the opposite direction to normal.

It's been a long and strange winter 2023 and spring 2024. We have managed to get some things done outdoors, but with the strange wet weather we have had, it's been a struggle.

We've taken care of some track that was twisted, a ride on truck that had a wonky wheel. Give out test certificate's when engines have pass the test and a lot more.

Here are a couple of pictures thats different to the norm. Engineers call it fettling, others call it tinkering.

19th July 2023
The above two loco's gained the steam certificate today, hope to seen you soon.
