Dav-id's Halt is a 00 gauge layout and was started in 2016 and was completed in approximately 2 years. |
It's built on an 8' x 4' baseboard. |
As with all layouts it is tinkered with even now, it was initially analogue control but was converted to DCC control using a Digitrax system in 2019. |
This allows the loco's to be operated independently, also the lights in the buildings, track points and turntable all controlled from the hand set. |
This system can be connected and then controlled by a computer using software like Itrain or TrainController™. |
Once programmed the whole layout can be run fully automatically. |
